An experienced Counsel was called in 1976. She specializes in High Court Family work of all types, and also deals with a wide range of Civil Law work including Human Rights cases at the European Courts, Education, Employment, Personal Injury and Medical Cases, Discrimination Law, Judicial Review, and Licensing Law.

Mrs Horne-Roberts has been engaged in numerous major cases during her career, including many High Court Family and Judicial Review cases, and also including the Stanley Adams whistle-blowing case in the European Court of Justice in the 1980s. , the vaccine damage litigation in the UK and European Court of Human Rights in the 1990s to date, and recently the US Omnibus cases.

She represented young Claimants in the US Omnibus Vaccine Court cases, alleging a link between vaccines and autism. Some of these cases succeeded and/or were conceded by the US Government, the Defendant to the actions.

She writes on legal subjects including books on Employment and Family Law. She is a member of several Law Committees, one of which she chairs, as well as of the Family Law Bar Association, the Bar European Group and the Personal Injury Bar Association.

She was founder and first Chair of the Association of Women Barristers; and was formerly on the Young Bar Committee.

She is a member of the Middle Temple and of the Inner Temple (ad eundem).
Jennifer Horne-Roberts is married and has had two children: Francesca, a young Graduate and Post Graduate(Mandarin) now in business; and Harry her beloved and gifted son, who died as the result of medical negligence aged 20.

Mrs. Horne-Roberts is happy to attend Conferences at Goldsmith Chambers or locally at short notice by arrangement with her Clerk, Mr. Keith Roberts.

The Price:

• clients may contact the barrister to obtain a quotation for legal services. JH-R normally charges at an hourly rate depending on the complexity of each case.

The Service:

• the areas of practice in which JH-R, most commonly provides legal services are Civil Law including Commercial, Personal Injury, and Family (advisory).

• the factors which might influence the timescales of the barrister's most commonly provided legal services will be advised at the outset.

The Redress:

• JH-R will provide a reasoned response to any client complaint within 21 days.

• If dissatisfied the client may then complain to the LeO.
